A local port-a-potty/waste pumping outfit used the initials of its two principals in the company's name: B&M Waste Service. Way back when, instead of announcing that one had to: take a crap (if one announced such things), it was more polite to refer to that activity as having a BM (for bowel movement). Fitting, but funny, name.

A restaurant/tavern in the next county calls themselves Fudgieknuckles. Just my opinion but that's a stupid name. Fudge and knuckles don't comfortably correlate with me. Ouch! Yuck!

What have you got to add?

"Art Smart's Dart Mart" is in Milwaukee, near where I used to live. They sell darts, kites, juggling supplies, as well as practical joke stuff - cool place.

There's a pet supply store near my house in Chicago called "Doggy Style."

Caskets 'n More (no joke - a discount funeral provider)

Major statewide fireworks distributor "ALAMO" does lots of advertising and promotion. Couple of enterprising young guys set up a fireworks stand "AL&MO". I always try to buy something from them when we make a fireworks run.

If you were a company called Powergen (the UK power company) and you had a subsidiary that operated in Italy, what would you call that company's website?

Probably not www.powergenitalia.com

But they did.

One need only glance at the direction the thread has gone, and it becomes obvious that it will never achieve family friendliness. The thread is closed.
