FLOODY CREE LIGHTS

On a quest to make a floody cree.
I have heard of places that might make custom lenses for a light.Also heard they **may** have a sandblast for glass or "film" with optical glue you can stick on.

Any 1 have info on this? Or just rumor?


My PL 24 has insane throw, when i slap on (looks like) sandblasted whiteish diffuser it is the smoothest beam ever.Seems like a 250 bulb was turned on and makes 1/4 mile near daylight.

I wonder if some 1 has tested different levels of sandblasted glass or speckled film to see what amount is the least needed.

I was reading a thread earlier this week about an aspherical lens that gave insane throw, not sure about flood and not sure if it was a cree, sry if I wasn't much help, just wanted to point you in the direction of the thread

Just held my PL 24 diffuser up against my M1..what a nice beam!
