problem with GOOGLE, GMAIL fixed

Has anyone been able to get into either google or gmail in the last hour or so. I have tried 2 PCs at home - not sure if the problem is a link with cablevision or if google is completely down.

reset the cable modem and now it works..

I have the same problem. I think gmail is down.

*edit* just tried logging in again and it's fine now. :grin2:

It's working fine here in the Midwest also on Cablevision. POP3 works as well.

I have the feeling it is my service provider, but everything else seems to be working.

It's no real big deal, but has anyone noticed a big increase in spam arriving in the spam box lately? Somebody appears to be targeting gmail users.... Thankfully, Google is handling it well.

It runs peaks and valleys - there has been more lately. all on a first name basis,( click all, then delete )

I have noticed more mail getting through the filters. When I say more, I mean one or two a week, rather than none. This may be because of a higher volume of spam emails, therefore more are going to have the ability to get through. As long as it stays at one a week, I am happy. Gmail is great.
