The actual LED's themselves, how can you tell the difference between the Lux 3 in the T3 and the SSC in the T5, any pictures?

Tbin Lux3 for T3 and U bin SSC P4 for T5.

you can look on the led-die, the wires are different. the ssc wires are close together, the wires of the lux III are on opposite sites of the die. rest of the package is very similar.

Got them mixed up and now can't tell which one is which, huh? Here you are:
T3
T5
They are very similar until you look closely at the LEs, which are a different size and shape. The T5's SSC P4 is slightly larger than the T3's Lux, so the hole in the reflector for the LE is larger in the T5. The head housing itself is identical.

DM51.......Now thats what I am talking about....exactly what I was after, thank you. The reason I asked is that I received one but it came with T3 manual in the box, so I wasnt sure what light I received. Looking at your photos its clear that I have the T5....thanks again.
