I am working on a prototype project (in the realm of home theater products) and I need help!

I need somebody in the USA with a fair knowledge of how to build LED devices and wire them up correctly. Not sure if this matters, but it will need to run off a standard AC power system and be designed to be as compact as possible.

I have detailed plans and project specifications for the right person, I am basically seeking a partner in what I hope will be the new rage in affordable home theatre products. If what I am thinking really works this could be a HUGE money-maker.

Send me an email if you are interested in talking to me. Please leave me your name and phone number I will call back ASAP.

Okay, I need to make 6 individual RGB Modules (Red, Green, Blue bulb, I will make some sort of housing out of fiberglass). Each one will be spaced around a 16:9 theatre screen, about 2 inches above and just off the screen surface, so they can't easily be seen. Then I need to find a way to make them change color, in sync, to a preset program (somehow programable by the user). Now the trick is I need an on/off switch, AND somehow program it to detect when the video system is powered on, and turn off the lights (hopefully with a nice fade). My thought was to put a current detector around/near the powersupply of the projector, so when it picks up current, the lights turn off.

So... anybody think I can pull this off?... and how...

what type of led u intend to use ?
1. Leds of 3mm/5mm/10mm ...
2. Luxeon 1/3/5 watts, K2 ....
3. Cree

Do u intend to make or buy readily made such as this ...
http://www.theledlight.com/120-VAC-LEDbulbs.html

and how big is the per module ?

Generally, Red color leds is operating at 2 - 2.2 volt, Green and blue are abt 3.7 volt.

in yr case, u also need individual Drivers to power them :
http://www.theledlight.com/luxeonled_drivers.html

as yr input is via 110Vac then using a transformer (step down) to DC, going through the Driver then to the Leds/etc, the driver will regulate specific current for the leds.

for the program part, u got to look elsewhere in the net for stage/disco lightiing hardwares ... or this
http://www.theledlight.com/rgb_system.html

For detect for light to trigger a on/off, u can use things such as ...
http://www.jameco.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&productId=120310

or
http://www.theledlight.com/nightwatch_opto.html

u need to pay someone greatly in money to build this :)

And will cost u many more also :)

else if u do it yrself, only u yrself will know can u make it work or not ..... :)

oh, the links i use above are for examples, free feel to fine similars .....

And please do use the Search Option available to find out more abt LEDs ...

cheers
:poke: :banghead:
