To make your bezel refocusable, just do the following:

Buy a good roll of taflon tape(also called thread seal tape), it is normally used for water pipes and costs $1 or less.

Just apply a few layers to the threads on bezel. It will make the bezel tighter and also refocusable. You can twist the bezel to make the beam into spot or flood.

I almost don't see any RINGS on my Elly with the SSP4 U-bin led mod.

Will upload some pictures later tonight.

Does your Elly drive the LED to a full 1 watt ?? I measure 3.24 volts at 220 mA. That's only .7 watts :-(

I have no idea, but the light gives out about 60 Lumens for the first few minutes, then down to about 45 lumens after 40 minutes or so.

I'm working with lasers and my first Elly seems underpowered. I added 7 turns to the boost coil and got nothing. I'll have to test my other units.
Thanks - Mike
