Why does the KL3 have such a narrow beam?

I have a few of the KL series LED conversions. My KL3 seems to have a much more narrow beam than the L1, KL4, KL5 or KL6. Have other users noticed the same thing? Is my KL3 the anolomy here?

Nope, the KL3 uses a TIROS optics, which = ALL THROW, no spill. I'm guessing you have an older L1, b/c the new one has the same beam

Compared between the KL5,KL6 and the newer L1 rounded body with TIR, which is giving out more throw?
