So I got bored and decided to look up the patent numbers on my surefire lights.

http://www.google.com/patents

This one in particular stood out to me. However I have never seen a mount like this. Did Surefire ever make one?

Damn! That bar mount is cool!!
It looks like it clips on in place of the pocket-clip.

Indeed, the "pocketclip" is but one thing that can be secured to the flashlight. As you've noticed the "binocular" or even "bicycle" mount.

FYI, PK has a whole load of his patents on his website.

If it would have only been available........
I just bought a M951 weaponlight for my bike. I went to the local sports store and bought some 1913 rail and mounted it to my bike. Works great!

That is a pretty cool setup you've got there. I recently got a mountain bike and used the stock reflector mounts to mount a G2. I like your setup better though.

Size15,
Do you have a link to PKs web site?

Wow! That's like an old, old version of the MH90... The current version must be like 15-20% less mass.
Thanks for sharing the photos.

Nice lights. Mantras are cool too. Do they still make them?

i say the pocket clip mount is not strong enough. imagine a c2 body is mounted to some military hardware and is dropped together. i think that could be enough force to break the two tabs that are made to hold the pocket clip.

I have a black rubber cover over the E1L body that fits in the ring mount nicely.
When riding, I'll be checkin' to make sure its still there. Its one of my favorites.
I'm going to find a way to mount the pressure switch I made for my E-series , and when the brake is applied it will make contact with the pressure switch thus having an actual working brake light.
If i could only make the pressure switch work with my McE2s 2 stage tailcap.....I'd have a running light & brake light. Hmmmm.........
