A good cree headlamp?

Did anyone see a good cree headlamp for sale?

I have been using a Petzl Tikka XP and my brother wants to buy a headlamp too, but preferably a cree one (because of the much better efficiency).
The headlamp would be intended for hiking. Something rather smaller (in the size of my tikka xp). Thanks.

If you like the Trikka, then you can get the Petzl MyoXP and mod it with Seoul P4 U-bin star. The mod is very easy and the result is very good.

Many people have done cree and seoul mods to the Princeton Tec Eos. Quite easy to do, cost you $12 - 17 for an IMS17 reflector and a cree or seoul star.

Do a search or look up a guy name Ktronic. He seems to be the king of Eos mods.

You can also go whole hog and buy a $15 sputtered aluminum reflector too (McGizmo). I didn't think it was worth it but ended up using PDA film on the lense to smooth out the Cree beam.

Have fun! Easy mod! Very basic soldering skills needed for the star.
