I have a new Cygo light Duo Cross 300 and love the beast. It is by far the brightest LED I have ever seen (throw that puts my Subarus headlights to shame!) My only beaf with it is the lack of battery options. I comes with a rechargable unit. Being smart ;) I cut the battery cord adn attached a 2 prong trailer type connector to either end adn one to each of my other battery options. I tried both of the new batteries and it worked beautifully!!!! then plugged in the factory battery and:barf: dim light :( quickly ran to the garage and checked the polaity and I had it swapped!!!! once switched all was kinda good. except the light would no longer toggle through the different brightness levels adn would stay at what seems to be it's lowest level (which is pretty darn bright anyway). So I would like to find a way to revive this beast any ideas suggestions for a relative electronics idiot?

We need to see pictures of its electronics before we can make assumptions about what has gone broken.
