Recently purchased a neat little dual-function cammed MOP reflector for Mag, didn't know it was only designed for the thin bulbed incans, and had wanted to use it with my DB-3W modded w/ an SSC.

Would still like to use it, and was wondering if there was anyone out there who'd be willing to bore it out for me (for a fee)? Thanks!

I have done this in the past by taking a round dremel stone and dressing it to the diameter of the bulb, in my case a 5761, and then from the rear of the reflector carefully slowly grind forward. A drill press is good but I did it with a dremel extension shaft in hand. Care should be taken not to chip the plating. A fine stone is best. Take the cam off for this type of reflector when working on it. I am not a taker on your request for help, but you see it is not so bad if you have to take care of it locally.
