Something Cool!

I was just messing around last night and noticed something I thought was kind of cool and might be worth exploring by someone with more modding skills than I.

I have an Aleph LE and noticed that the threads match a spare E1e/E2e head that I had on my desk. The LE just screws right in!!
Now, it didn't get very far into the head since the head has a post where the bulb for an E1e/E2e fits but still!!
I wonder what would happen if I just ground off the post and was able to screw the LE in all the way so it was flush against the reflector?

Anyone else notice this before?

I came to the conclusion I might just as well make a new head with an Mc20 reflector in it.

There have been some good mods using an LE in a modified E1e/2e head though.
