Refocusing Fenix CE lights?

Ive had a few fenix CE lights now... and all but one have that annoying black ring around the hotspot. ive seen pics... before and after by those of you that have refocused yours to fix this problem.
now then, maybe im kinda stupid, but I cannot figure out how to even start getting the thing appart to fix this!
Please Please PLEASE!!!
somebody who can, post some pics of how this trick is performed.
Im sure I would not be the only grateful one here!

First remove the head from the body of the light.

The threads are glued, so simply wrap rubber bands around the two parts on either side of the red line in the picture below and loosen until the donut is gone, which only takes one or two turns.



*Warning*
If some of the glue flakes make their way into the head, DO NOT use alcohol or a cotton swab to remove them. Shake them out or unscrew the reflector and shake it out that way. (You'll see two little indentations that needle nose pliers will fit into perfectly. It unscrews very easily.)

Whatever you do, don't touch the reflector!
