Last night I left my new Striker VG SSC P4 on by mistake and of course killed the batteries. I don't care about the replaceable batteries - (already done) but did this harm the Striker in any way? I'm freaked (newbie around for a month) that I may have caused some damage since I think it seems a bit less bright (could be psychological).

Are there any batteries than can boost this cool flashlight's output? I'm using Panasonic CR123A's.

One more that is off topic but I see completely "streaped" in posts. What does streaped mean?

Sorry for the newbie questions but I got's to know.

Thx,

Pablo

There shouldn't be any damage to a light like that. Possible problems would be a battery explosion when one is less charged than the other (very, very rare), and heat damage to the LED if it wasn't well heatsinked, which I haven't heard anything about. Therefore, you're most likely fine.

My best guess about the perceived decrease in output is that you're getting used to the power.

I have never heard the word "streaped" before in my life... until now.
