Flash that's it with a kiu on top. The pedestal the whole assembly as I understand it. Wish I copied the old thread pic of it. Thread was several years old.

Someone in the past has machined the thing out of al. The top of it had a couple of threaded hole which a kiu could be screwed to.

Big massive heat sink. One could bore a hole where the switch assembly usually goes, but smaller depending on the size of your replacement switch and electronics.

The heat sinks would not be needed for an entire pedestal of aluminum.

The pedestal is the entire bulb assemble holder, switch housing, and down to the bat. spring holder.

I looked again in the archives and couldn't find the pic. If anyone is making the think now they would know what I'm describing.

Cy good luck with the sale you have a good assortment of stuff.

Jim - I did a quick search and turned up some old threads that may help. Where I found a photo I added the post # to the link. It looks like there was a lot of interest in the subject back in the day. Good luck. Kirk

Jim - That is the one I suspected your were describing. It is at post # 57 in the second of the four links that I posted. BTW - The first post has an interesting fix as well - at least for locking the stock switch in a fixed position. Good luck. Kirk
