Before I had Arc AAA's I had Photon clones.
Before I had Photon clones I had Mag Solitaires. Shortly afterward I had only Mag Solitaire endcaps as the primary mass of the flashlight eventually vibrated loose and and disappeared forever.
I saw a string here or on the Light Museum asserting that the same problem was likely when using the 123 base.
How real is the risk and what precautions should be taken to avoid losing the head when mounted on a key chain.
The Arc AAA head is so small that I can't imagine it vibrating off. I'd like to be convinced that I wouldn't be silly to place my more massive LS head at risk on my keychain.
