I took another nighttime walk with my Arc -LS.My 5 year old had a UKE 2-AAA that he was carrying Duck taped to a stick( don't ask)

Anyway,I don't know if he dropped it, or it just blew a lamp, but it made me appreciate LED technology.I'm not sure what the bulb assemblies cost online, but I bought the one in his flashlight locally. It was $8.This bulb was on it's second set of batteries. The one it replaced died prematurely also. Also,I used to think that the beam from the 2-aaa looked very white until I put it next to the LS.It is amazing how orange the output really is.
When you look at the bulb cost over the life of a flashlight that gets used and dropped often,a good LED light could pay for itself.
