What I have is the KIU socket kit, lens and reflector.
What is used for a switch?

Thanks a bunch!!

Do you build these?

No I didn't build a Tigerlight or USL. I've build a 3dm@g85 , 2dM@g138-623-610-625. ROP's, M@g11-5761. All included tailcap, switch fixes, or adding Kiu Kit to chopped pedestal.

Looking at a 250w mod now so all the research into max heat issues, and fixes.

I know a guy named Wayne who's into ju jitsu, I'll send you a pm.

Wayne,

You may want to look at the old USL threads concerning switches.

What they did was simplicity itself seeking a minimun of resistance the switch was hard wired between the battery pak and lamp via a kiu type socket and heat sink. I think it was a 10A rocker type switch.

Depending on which batteries you intend on running you might want to leave a little bit of resistance in the system. I've seen plenty of people blow their bulbs using CBP1650's. Those who didnt do the resistance mods dont have that problem near as frequently.
