Hey guys, I was wondering if the ring around the Cree is conductive and if an aluminum reflector were to touch if, if anything would happen. Thanks guys.

Yes it conducts electricity.

It conducts, but isn't hooked up to anything unless you get some solder on it from one of the contact pads by accident....
It's silver plated copper BTW.
