I used to have a set (2) of hokeyspokes. They're pretty neat. I got several complements on them and they seemed to generate a lot of attention. You need at least two per wheel, though, three being even better, other wise, they'll throw your wheel off balance and you'll feel a bumping, while riding. The hokey spokes are also programmable, but only for messages. They communicate with each other, too, which synchronizes their patterns for each wheel.

I sold 'em here, on CPF, a year or two ago.

I want a programmable one. Nuts n' Volts magazine has a writeup on how to make it yourself, although I don't do that kind of thing, it was cool to read.
