Converted

My son called me today to say how pleased he was with his new Arc AAA I gave him for his birthday. Took it to the engineering firm and showed it around for a lot of ohs and ahs.

We have been converted to LED thanks for this forums help.

The exciting part is that we're currently experiencing just the beginning of LED lighting technology. While incandescent "technology" will still be needed to warm chicken hatchlings, I can only imagine the great things that solid state lighting will give us. In just a few short months we'll have gone from "bright" 5mm LEDs to the 1W Luxeon Star, to the 5W LS. When the "state of the art" increases by sevearal hundred percent every few months, you know you're onto something amazing. Hang on. It should be a REALLY fun ride for the likes of us.
