I like the output levels on my LF1 but would like to increase the runtimes.
Has anyone ever done a Cree/Seoul mod to a light not to increase the output but to keep the same levels and increase runtime?
Seems simple enough - swap in a Cree/Seoul LED, modify the driver to reduce the drive current, and voila!
So has anyone opened up the head on their LF1 and figured out the driver circuit? Does this seem possible with this light? (Without having to replace the driver)
