no, that would be too sensible, and convenient, as would a similar chart for Surefire parts and bulbs...
and while we're at it, a chart of interchangeable bulbs for other flashlights would make too much sense also...
(and don't anyone come up with a laminated computer instruction chart either!)

LOCO is more like it.

I'm pretty familiar with the evolution, but before 3.0, I couldn't tell you what the Arc designations were. Not that it really matters what they were called internally, since they never have been marked with any sort of version number.

The LED Museum did a good job of documenting the Arc AAA revisions in the form of updates to the initial review. Take a look.

Craig's review is even better than a chart -- give that man a new computer!
..all I can add is the latest Arc aaa's have a slight gold tint on the inside of the barrel, and thread of the illuminator head -- can be difficult to discern without a non-Kemkoted Arc to compare with..

I'd be happy to do the actual charting if somone could get me specs...obviously we can't list every piddly detail but we could decide on 6 or 7 things:Bulb (ok LED type would be better) weight, batteries, finish, etc etc.

Geoff,
Also checkout Chris' review site for lots of information and photos explaining the different versions.
