1x123 body for L2DCE?

I thought that the P1DCE would be about as bright as the L2DCE but it does not appear so. Does the 1x123 body work with the L2D? And does the L2D put out more or less light with the an R123?

Take a look at the P2D, and just get the body when it comes out, the parts should be interchangeable.
