The reason 17670 is at the beginning of my thread title, is because the XR-E LE in this light, is from a Shoppe built A19 light, and I don't think the GD825 will take 6 volts? I only use a 17670 cell.

This is from my personal collection of Ti stuff, and this is the only ribbed cell tube that I made, in this exact style. The switch housing is one of two that I made with a knurled band.

The blue 17670 fit perfectly, and the new black 17670 cell from AW fits too, but it's snug if the silver label isn't removed. I leave the label on, it just requires a shake to get the black 17670 cell out.

This is not a light that can be turned on and left unattended, or on for long periods of time without air movement. The head will get very, very hot.

$600 delivered

Thanks for looking,

TB

Very nice looking light TB, I really like that slight taper the body has.

Excellent!

BTW the switch housing will accept a McE2S, if you can find a resistor value that will work with the GD825...
