Re: Hell Has Officially Frozen Over...

Is this the update they have been promissing for well over six months?

Are they really about to implement the updated site or did someone forget to pay the bills of the hosting company and they just had their account yanked? :lolsign:

Lame. Nobody (with half a brain) updates their site by pulling the old one first. Let's hope they're just having technical difficulties. Or else I hope they test their lights better than their web site!

Finally up and running I see. Pity most of thier new products don't look very appealing.

Seems like it takes a looooong time to load, and I have high-speed cable internet... Maybe it's just the heavy traffic since it's a new update.

I see a whole new site and it's fancy. New products, specs, graphics...

Not bad.

The X1 seems to really be the only appealing one at two watts with a single AA. The T5 has only 125 lumens, cmon now they can do better than that, especially with the LED's available NOWADAYS lol... I wonder what LED's these the ones listed with these specs are using?

Yeah, I wish the T1 was still single cell, just smaller than the TIROS version. Looks like they are using Luxeon K2 (or equivalent) LEDs. It's been hashed over a few times why the large volume manufacturers don't have Crees/SSC's yet. Nothing in retail stores will for a while yet. Only eBay and online stores will for a while. Surefire will probably be the first this summer (fingers seriously crossed).

You probably haven't set your browser to check whether the site has changed everytime you visit it. It is reloading from the cache.
