I've been performing some of my own runtime tests on my LS units and found something interesting.
It appears, that during regulation while the light is left on, it gets warm to the touch. Nothing to be concerned about, not hot, but a pleasing warm. Once regulation stops (moon mode), the warmth ceases and the light returns to room tempature.
So, not only do I have a hell of a light, but a nice hand warmer for those cold winter days.
