Hi PETER,
Just wondering when and if we can expect to see waterproofed LS's.
Can the current LS handle rain, splashed water, and generally wet conditions barring any complete submersion????
Just trying to get a feel regarding how cautious I need to be. Is this in reality meant to be simply an indoor light or can it handle the occasionally wet and nasty outdoors?
Thanks for the time,

The current LS is not waterproof. The version planned for October should be waterproof to at least 50 feet.

The current version can handle splashes and rain, but do not immerse it since this may cause the lens to fog up.

The design is not capable of a retrofit. You would have to purchase a new illuminator head unit.
