Is a new version of the Lumapower M3 just around the corner?

I thought I read in another thread that there were improvements coming to the M3, but I can't seem to locate the thread/post with a search. Should I hold off on buying an M3?

I dunno. The threads I read made it sounds more like a set of accessories for the M3, rather than a whole redesign. But who can say?

I pretty much like mine the way it is. If I could change a few things, I'd alter the settings on the hi/lo twist switch in the head. I'd make the low setting much lower, about the same level as the as low you get from the two-stage reverse clicky switch. Then I'd dump the two-stage tailswitch and replace it with a nice single stage forward clicky. Finally, I might go back and ask that the high setting (in the head twist) run about 50% higher current, or as much as the battery can supply.
