Do you turn-on ARCs, LS or AAA, using two hands or one handed? I suppose most of us began using twist-on lights two-handed, and later learned the one-handed technique of revolving the light head with forefinger and thumb, while holding the battery holder with the palm and two little fingers.

My LS packs are too tight to turn on easily with a single hand. What is best to use on the rings to make it smoother?

Hi Radiant,
I've found that a thin application of
silicone grease to the threads and the
0-ring helps a lot. THIN is the key word
here! I use a Q-tip to apply it and a
paper towel to remove the exess.
Most automotive stores and Radio Shack
have it in stock. Hope this helps:)

I turn my AAA on with one hand 70 % of the time. 30% of the time I think I am using my Mag Solitare again (Subconsiously, mind you...one could never purposely confuse the 2) and twist the head the wrong way, which results in a 2 hand turn on becoming necessary.
