Whom have you tried? The Usual Suspects, no? TTS, Brightguy, 1SKS, Steve-at-springboard? Have I missed anyone? Oh yeah, Triple Aught.

You could always order one from Arc. I always do. I always send a note to Gransee telling him to send me the the brightest one he has. He always grabs the first one his hand touches...tells me he`s sorted through a few hundred and the brightest is on the way...I know better...but I enjoy being a pest.

Sorry, all out of ideas. Dang, that must of been a short run of LE's. Wait, one last ploy. Do as KenB said but beg and plead and if he still says no, ask if he knows anyone who has one left.
Try hard to get one. The 3.1 is really nice. The best I've seen so far.

Geoff in Philly. I have an old one from the second run. I posted what you are asking in another thread today but it is worth repeating. There is a very visable difference between last Aug/Sep LE and the present run. The beam colors are the same but thats all. The tooling on the case and head are perfect. Knurling is sharply defined and the case to head fit is also first class. A very small gap from head to case and the O ring is seated nice and deep. The beam has a larger spread and at the same time, way brighter. All in all, this is the best of all my Arc-AAA's.
I put a nice new blue traser on it so I know which one to grab in the dark.

they are backordered...expecting them sometime, as is TTS...
Sunspot, what observations do you note between the 3.1 and the old LE...I have one of the very first run and love it...just "need" another...possibly for an arc/ultrafinity mod
