Runs on 1 CR123A. A RCR123A seems to work fine, but I don't know if the voltage is in the OEM specifications and I haven't done any extended runs. If you use RCR, you will find low is not very low.
With a primary, it pulls 50mA on low, and 410 mA on high. So estimate about 30 hours runtime on low, about 3.5 hours runtime on high.
