Greetings Gentlemen,
A very important question : Is there a sort of epoxy resin that doen't harden completely , but stays a bit collagen like? to compensate for thermal expansion? I would like to utilize that material to stabilize power supply unit inside its housing.
Thank you.

You could use 2-part polyurethane "epoxy". That stuff tends to stay a bit softer than your typical epoxies. I usually use a marine adhesive/sealer for potting. Takes forever to fully dry, but it sticks like heck and stays nice and flexible. I buy mine at Ace Hardware. It comes in a clear squeeze tube with a red tip.
