Cheap AAA hosts for SSC - any suggestions ?

I've been using my L0D-SSC natural for about a month. I would like to make another for a friend, but it seems that the price of the L0D natural is still $37. (excluding cpf discount).

I came across Roy's review of the Ultrafire 602C

Sadly it is out of stock on Kaidomain and Dealextreme.

Is there any other source for this light or failing that, any other comparible 1 stage AAA host.

Lighthound.com has them in stock for $19.99. I have one on the way, and was planning on modding it with a Seoul P4 to compare it to a Huntlight AAA Seoul that I have.

How hard is the SSC P4 swap on the LOD? I have a natual LOD as well, and have taken the head off to expose the emitter. Is it really as easy as it looks?

EngPaul : That looks like a great mod ! I think for gifts, a 1 stage SSC is better than a 5 mode L0D-SSC. I'm going to email DX or Kai and see if they can get these back

{edit} - I sold my L0D-CE on BST shortly after doing the mod

Do you want scary bright? If not, the Fenix E1 is cheap ($26) and easy to mod. For brighter, you could do an L0P:
