Is the Streamlight Lux. Jr waterproof?

I never tried it and need to know if it is or isnt since I may need it to clean a flooded basement tomorrow.

It's water resistant but not waterproof. The rubber boot on the clickie serves as a seal for the tail end and an o-ring seals the bezel. BTW there's no seal between the optics and the bezel ...appears to be just glued.

I dropped mine in the river once (@2.5ft). I quickly retrieved it and all was well.

The Jr. is rated as "dunkable". That means it should deal with splashing and some very limited time actually underwater. Not sustained underwater or dive use. I have not tested mine.

before I cracked my optics it stool very well for shower duty....then a friend tossed it in the swimming pool where it managed to survive in 3 feet deep until I retrieved it
