Do you have some detailed specs on the flupic? I did a quick search but did not find everything I was looing for.
I wanted to know the max/min input voltage, max current to the emitter, efficiency of unit, etc.

If it works with 3x1.5v alkie cells and will run till they are drained pretty good and have a high mode of 1000ma I think I will have to get one.

Hello, I would like to know the specs on this. What voltage range does it work with? Are standard 123 cells ok to use with it? How many different setting are there?
Sorry about all the questions, but the thread was really long and I didn't want to read the whole thing.
Any help would be appreciated?
Thanks

Since all other boards are build to order, they do not enjoy just a deep discount. But take off 10% then plus $3 shipping for all other boards I offer.

I am free this week to work on flashlights but in the coming weeks, I'll be gone. Cheers!

Search function! Tons of info and message threads on these but I think I can say they are made to run with rechargeable Li-Ions mainly so 3.6 to 4.2 volt is what they like. IMO one of the best flashlight UI's and drivers made! These are the heart of the highly sought Firefly III, Jil Intelli and some other unobtanium. Draco and Exolion also use a reduced UI version of the FluPic.
DeFab... - You can use regular CR123's but at reduced brightness. Have you seen the UI card - flowchart? That explains it best - big color pic in one of the threads.

Kevin, how about a:

1. Piglet (13.97/1.6mm) 50/500mA;
2. 2x MiniFLuPIC 10.55mm (are these v2.2 s/w?);
3. FLuPIC v2.2 (.55")

If I have the new math right: $22.50 + $36 + $15 + $3 = $76.50

PayPal on standby,

Paul

Looks right. Cheers! Btw, they are V2.2 unless you want the draco interface. =D
