How to make a MKIIX run BETTER?????

Have a MKIIX that works less than perfect,this one has no spring in the head,flickers some, and the switch does'nt work all the time.I run this with a AA battery,could use some advice to do it myself,or who could I send it to for repairs?????? Thanks John

The only thing that you could do without taking out the circuit board is clean the thread and tighten the switch. You might be able to solder a spring to the board but that might void your warranty. Are you sure the flicker is not form the PWM circuit (is it constant flickering at a fast rate or random flickering)?

Repairs, Who did you buy form? If it is a good dealer, send it back for a replacement.

Just got done soldering a silver switch contact to the center of the head end,in place of a spring, seems to have made the light work 100% better and no more flicker!!!!!!! Hope it lasts
