fenix request

long time lurker, obviously my first post, I enjoy reading everyone..

My question..
I want the brighest Fenix that takes a standard ( easy to find, not 123) battery,,any suggestions...

I also like a good throw,,,

I own two fenix right now, E1 and a L1p .

I also have a Inova, and 5 surefires...

any help is appreciated, and thanks!

Hi, welcome to CPF

If you don't want to use 123's IMO there's only one solution: L2D CE

Seconding what kilovolt said- I love my l2dce. 135 lumens on highest setting while still taking common AAs. runs an insane amount of time too before running out. My Arc4 and E2 seem dim and weak next to it. Its smaller than other lights of equal brightness and lesser runtime too (sfg3)!

Yea, and you can run a L1D body tube if you want it to be shorter. And also later on they will sell the P2D body, so you can run a CR123 also.

So if I understand you guys correctly, I can take my P2D CE and change the body so it will take AAs?

CDI, it says on the website the l1d and l2d bodies are optional extra's !

Yes, but you will also need a LxD tail cap. The P2D tailcap is different.
My plan is to have all the bodies so I can run all the configs.

I got the L2D for my father and he complained it was too long, so I traded him my L1D for his L2D. I'll just get a L1D body for mine when I get the chance, then add the P2D body with tailcap combo which is suppose to run 20 buks from Fenix-Store soon.
