I've spotted some 3AA>D adaptors for sale over in the manufacturers forum, I believe. Good luck, you'll find some.

Good luck on the search. It took me a while to find a FiveMega 6AA-2D last year, but I did finally score a used one in good condition for $40.

Willrx- would you mind posting a link to where you saw the 3aa>1D adapters? I've searched that forum up & down with no luck. Thanks!

The Sandwich Shoppe has 2D-8AA holders available.You would need two dummy cells and roll the overlapping wrapper on the batteries just right to fit.Mine is a little tight with Sanyo 2300's.Below is where I picked up my dummy cells.
