Huh, picked up my P60'd Maxfire...

And thought the batteries were near dead! I'm so used to LEDs now, that even with two 3.6V and +-4 Flash Amps the P60 looks SICK!

And I'd like to type again that 9 or more 5MM LEDs on 3AAA put out a suprizing amount of light!

Now I WILL admit that my M*gcharger60 still looks good even against good LEDs....

Well Illum,

Even though the batteries proved to be good, I messed with a 3C M*gled, a 2AA M*gled and a M*gcharger 60 besides that Maxfire with the P60 and what proved to be good batteries.

The P60 looked rather yellow and dim compared to ALL the other lights.

I kind of think that says something.

I hear what you are saying, and experience the same thing sometimes. If I happen to be playing around inside with nothing but LED lights for awhile, and suddenly pick up an incan, my first thought is that the batteries are low because the beam looks SO yellow. When I do this outdoors though, it's a different story
