Measurement of (one) ARC sLS hybrid white (green PCB)
Setup:
- External power source.
- Mechanical connections to the gold button contact and housing.
- Additional capacitors short connected to the contacts: 4700 µF + 6.8 µF.
- Voltage measurement at the contacts.
- Illuminance measurement at 1 m distance in the maximum of the beam ("hot spot").
- Accuray: Voltage +/-0.75%, current +/-1.2%, illuminance +/-3.5%.
Notes:
1) Results may vary with different ARC (s)LS flashlights.
2) Light output depends on temperature. It was tried to keep it near 25°C.
3) On average the light output was lower than with batteries. This may depend on the impedance of the power source, which was not low enough.
4) There were strong unwanted oscillations below 2.5 V. This may depend on the high-impedanced power source, too. No way to keep this oscillations below 2.0 V under control.
5) Measurements sampled 3 times.

Enjoy your flashlight. And always supply it with more than two volts...
