Did Sanyo2700's Fry my Fenix L2D CE? Post II - With Pics

Here is the continuation of my last post. As you can see, there is a defined and clouded pattern in the middle...it's bright around the edges, but not around the sweetspot. The pattern is the same no matter which way the light is moved.

Contact your Fenix dealer and see about a replacement. Sucks when stuff breaks but it happens. Even Surefires have random failures.

The light might have defocused. Turn on the light and twist the top and bottom of the head. If it turns, it means your flashlight's locktite has weakened and you can now focus your light.

Check to see if the dome is still mounted to the Led

How far from the wall were you? If it was more than 5" then I'd say the dome of the LED came loose.
