HELP! How to reinstall the pocket clip on a Surefire C2?

Can you tell me how to re-install the pocket clip on my C2?

it should slide easily on after you remove the O ring. the small plastic widget eliminates most of the play...

The plastic widget is so tight it won't let the clip seat fully down.


I have the widget with the t-bar towards the tailcap, with bumps facing outwards from the light. ...that is seemingly the only way it will fit.

I can't get the clip all the way in?!?!?!?

I don't have a C2 but I'm guessing all of Surefire's clips are designed the same, regardless of size.

If that is the case, then, yes, having the bumps facing away from the light is correct. But are you sure you have the widget sitting in the proper position? The little arms of the T should be resting on top of the metal of the clip.

I've taken my L4 clip off and reattached it a few times for cleaning purposes and it always goes on easy. (By easy, I mean I position the pieces and use edge of table to push all the way in.)

I finally got it! It was a matter of getting the position just right on the widget and the clip, then mating it up with the light. Thanks all.
