You can see the adjuster simply pivots the whole laser assembly to adjust the aim point, but as I said in another post this thing is poor laser sight. So stay away form these.

Anyone recognise the diode/driver?

I want to "hop" it up a bit.

try turning up the pot a bit and see how far it goes - hopefully you won't blow the diode doing this...

It may have an APC feedback circuit that will prevent much change if the pot is adjusted - I think that is what the black and red wires are for. I wouldn't take it apart any further unless you really know what you're doing. The optics and crystals can be VERY difficult to realign.

The pot is already up all the way, tried disconnecting the control wires with no real result.

The diode is threaded into the assembly, comes apart and goes back togehter with ease.

About 10mw mabey, like get it more like 30 to 50.
