Could anyone (Peter?) discuss waterproofness of the rev2 design?

For example, obviously the o-ring is a possible failure point... but how vulnerable is the front end?

Are the electronics potted? So if there were a breach of the housing, would the guts still be ok? (excluding the battery, which might short out & die if the invading fluid was sufficiently conductive.)

What kind of testing has been done or is planned? I know that the ARC-AAA has performed well far beyond the official 50 foot depth... How should we view the 50 foot number for the LSrev2?

Eagerly awaiting my very own rev2's arrival,

Paul

The rev2 is currently undergoing waterproofing trials. Until we have completely tested the design, we will not officialy state that it is waterproof.

Can I test mine? What I mean is will you fix it or replace it if it takes on water?
