Default SF E1e Led drop-in, low power - long runtime

Maybe it was posted before, I dont' know.
You need a (defective) MNxx bulb, one RCR123 (3,6 V),
    a Super MJ-Led (uncut) and a 2-2,2 Ohm resistor.
The led is driven at 80-160 mA.
The output is a bit brighter than the Aviator A2 on low
und much brighter than the ARC AAA-P.
    Runtime is 7-9 h.
A nice drop-in for backup, when using the E1e with incands.

*** Important: do not remove the wire from
the bottom contact of the lamp assembly.
This part is hard to solder ***

    E1e-drop-in, distance 2 Meter

    Surefire A2 (3 leds)

Nice Job. Drop in mods rock. Nice backup to an incan too! Wish I had not thrown away a MN01 bulb I blew a few months ago. I remember wondering if I could use it, but thought "Noooo, I should just throw it away..." Bummer.

I wonder how much brighter the Super MJs would be?

I have used the Super MJ Led (4-die).
Output is in the range of 10-12 lm.

Energie, I keep finding your posts on mods for the SF E1e heads and they rock!

I have some spare 5mm LED's and want to do this mod but the MJ-LED's sound great; 10-12 Lumens. Do you have any numbers on runtimes?
Looking for: jhanko 'biohazard' V10R Ti clip, Luce de Notte (SS / Ti), SF Z2 (body, complete light, bored, unbored). Pls PM me with an offer.

What about the Nichia Jupiter leds or even the Rigels (which I can't find). The Jupiter supposedly puts out 51 lumens at 350mah. Might need to use a converter board though...

Nice. Would this work when running 1*CR123 or 2*CR123 (primaries)? Would a different resistor be needed?
