I was Thinking about getting the Leef body for 2x18650 cells and a KT2 Turbo head. Then I could also use the KT-2 on my 9p if I wanted. What bulbs can I use in the KT2 with 2x18650? What other kind of combo's can I use to get a HIGH output light?

you can do the MN15/16 safely..I THINK you can do the MN20, the 21 is not recommended IIRC..You can also run the old 12Z's 500 lumen bulb with 4 CR123s

if you have a chance... please read the guide/compatibility chart.. I made it because we get a question like this about 2 times a day, hehe.

https://www.candlepowerforums.com/threads/161536 <link

Having said that, I like to see the activity on the subject regardless, keeps people excited about the "old-school" incandecent stuff that some of us still love.. lol... Might try to post it in the incandecent section next time.... but whatever..

check this out... copied from the compatibility chart.

mdocod: Thanks for a very helpful and definitive post! I, too, am contemplating other 2x18650 solutions.

Hey all. Just a head's up: I got my Leef 2x18650 body today for my M3 and I'll be posting a review w/ tons of pictures and beamshots (MN10 and MN11) against my ROP-LE and other SF's as well as the M3 stock configuration so stay tuned. Incidentally, this is a sweet setup that I would highly recommend. More to come this evening, I'll post it in the incan forum.
