Fenix L2D to L1D

I just ordered an L2D CE.
Is it possible to buy the body tube for the L1D from fenix-store.com and convert it to an L1D by putting the L2D head on the L1D body (with a AA of course)? It says it's compatible, but would I need some converter?

Yes. The L1D/L2D/P2D all use the same exact head. All you have to do is screw the head on the other body.

The L1D/L2D are the same light except for the bodies, if you change over to the 1AA body the turbo mode won't be as bright as with the 2AA body
