I don't know for sure how much current the emitter is getting (you'd have to open it up to find that out), but my DMM sees about 280mA at the switch. With a 20% loss for the voltage boost and another 20% loss for converter efficiency, it should be somewhere around 150-200mA. That's my best guess.
