has anybody tried a cree drop-in from DX ina Surefire 9P? I had one I put in mine with 2x17500 cells and it instaflashed. I have a replacement for my 6P but I'm scared to try again.

Check your led by directly powering it with 3v-9v. I recieved a dropin unit that would light for one second and then turn off. It turned out the regulator ciruit didn't work but the led was fine. I ended up returning it to DX and got a full refund plus refunded the return shipping. I'm using both the Ultrafire and Cree dropins from DX in a C3 using 2x17670s, works great.

I have DX drop-in with my 9P. I have no problems with 3 primaries.
